We are a bunch of Otaku. Yes, you read it correctly, we are proud to be part of the Otaku Culture and we are committed into sharing our passion to everyone!
Firstly, thanks for reading this, we from OtaWorks are dedicated to bring out all sort of news from the Japanese Otaku culture, just for you!
We will be covering a wide range of materials, such as:
- Anime – Where we will be covering about new and upcoming series, along with reviews of the ongoing series, talking about what we think about the series, along with potentially in-depth talks about the series.
- Manga – Manga in itself, is a very rich content that covers just about all aspects of genre.
- Games – Japan has released multitude of genre and even has acclaimed their own genre of game, J-RPG.
- Music – Surely we all have heard and loved Anisong, J-pop, J-rock, and all other things that are created by the artistic nature of Japan.
- Events – Convention, concerts, we are here to cover them.
- People – Without people working on the industry, it won’t exist. We are here to cover the latest news on what is happening in the industry.
- Hobby – Collections? Model kits? We also love them!
Few of us would also travel out to Japan and few other countries when possible to attend events, so do not be surprised if we are reporting events from multiple countries!

Avid fan of the Japanese Culture, enjoys wide variety of Anime, Manga, Light Novels and Visual Novels. Has lived in multiple countries such as Singapore, Canada, USA, and Indonesia. Capable of basic Chinese and Japanese. Passionate about music (mainly Anisong) and loves live concerts. Plays wide range of games, mostly MMORPGs, MOBAs, JRPG, and Rhythm-games. Appreciates anything with a dash of artistic and efforts. Also a figure collector. Computer Science graduate.

Avid anime enthusiast since AFA14, attended many anime/cosplay conventions in Singapore since then. As an anisong music lover, I’ve also been attending some concerts in Singapore since last year, i.e. Lantis Anime Matsuri, LiSA and Eir Aoi’s first solo concerts in SG. Also as a LoveLiver and LoveLive! School Idol Festival (LLSIF) player, I will be focusing on LoveLive! news as well as LLSIF news and latest updates.

Been following Anime and Manga trend since 2007 and have seen a wide range of those from Action to Romance to Psychological genre. Planning to have frequent trips in and out of Japan for events and will try to provide as much first hand information as possible.

Was a closet otaku in my past, recently became open about it (2010-ish). Familiar with almost all mainstream anime of any genre except shoujo. Also an avid gamer, frequent concert attendee and Cinematographer in the making. New to the VN scene(slowly getting there) and Figure collector. Watches alot of Jpop/Idol MVs during free time.
